Fareesh S. Sarangi is the Principal and Founder of Sarangi Law, LLC, a Trial Law Firm with specialties in Personal Injury suits and Criminal Defense. Fareesh has extensive experience and training handling criminal and civil litigation matters in numerous courts and jurisdictions, and has handled such cases in various courts in New York and Georgia. He is admitted in all federal and state courts in New York and Georgia, including the highest court in each state, the New York Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court. Additionally, Fareesh has been admitted to practice in federal courts around the country as he prosecutes cases on behalf of those injured by defective medical devices or dangerous drugs.

Fareesh graduated with Honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2006. Prior to that, he spent five (5) years as a strategy consultant, developing and executing various corporate level initiatives for Fortune 500 companies. He is a 1996 Honors graduate of Georgia State University where he majored in Finance, with a minor concentration in Pre-medical sciences.

While in law school, Fareesh clerked at King & Spalding, where he was awarded a public interest fellowship. He also clerked at the Capital Defender’s Office in New York City, as well as the Public Defender Service in Washington, D.C. Following law school, he was awarded a position at one of the most competitive and highly respected public defender offices in the country, the Bronx Defenders. Fareesh practiced at the Bronx Defenders for almost four (4) years, defending everything from misdemeanor drug possession cases, DWI/DUIs, sex crimes, and serious felonies including attempted murder cases. He received national training in trial practice and specific subject matters, including attending national trainings on DWI/DUI defense. When Fareesh left the Bronx Defenders to return home to Georgia, he was a Criminal Practice Supervisor, and charged with managing the development and practice of 13 attorneys.

Upon returning to Atlanta, Fareesh spent two (2) years at one of the preeminent medical malpractice and insurance defense firms in Atlanta, where his practice focused on defending serious medical malpractice, wrongful death and general liability claims including tractor trailer accidents, premises liability claims, and slip and falls. In 2013, Fareesh decided to return to pursuing his passion, which is representing people who are victims of other’s negligence. He applies his knowledge to ensure the underdogs get access to justice.
